THE MUSIC IN ME...

I use to say: “The music in my family is not a gift, it is a diagnose!”
As long as I can remember my siblings, cousins and I have kept the musical tradition alive at family gatherings through sharing songs, music and poems, and I’m looking forward to passing the torch to the next generation.
With this said I would like to honor some of my family members that have inspired and motivated me: my grandparents on my fathers side, my father for his love and passion for composition and poetry, my cousins, my siblings and my friends with whom I’ve shared beautiful and memorable musical moments. I also want to thank

all the various groups and artists that have inspired med along the way with their creative spirits, talents and stage presence.

THIS IS WHAT I AM...

My musical history can be defined in three stages (the third is yet to come). Stage one: Me as lead singer in the group FSO.
Stage two: Where I’m standing now. I have worked slowly and systematically on my songs and some of them go way back, even before I joined FSO. Can you imagine? A great part of my life is reflected in a large collection of songs, recordings and productions in collaboration with several individuals that have marked my life forever with their talent, but foremost with their modesty and humbleness.

So why now? Why not earlier?

The simple answer is: Because I don’t follow the norms formed by trends and styles like many artists do to achieve success. But isn’t success the dream of every artist? For me that question is philosophical as well as spiritual. Composing and singing are necessities for me and of course I would like to make a living of it, but mostly to buy me time to write more songs. For me real success is when you do what your heart tells you to do. To be honest I have a dilemma between creating and singing, since I don’t know what I like the most. At the same time, who could interpret them better than me when they are created by me and reflect my life. Despite of what I express I don’t want to analyze further my motives, why my songs vary in styles or what they have in common or not in character. My intention has always been to give each and every song the arrangement and spirit they deserve to come as close as possible to their inner sound. With the help of the talent, patience and working spirit of those who have joined me on this journey I can now say the outcome is even better than what I imagined possible.
